Spanish  Skipper Licencing

 

Small Powerboat

&

RIB Master

Meet the compulsory Spanish small boat licence requirements with our Small Powerboat & RIB Master course run on the Costa Doarada coast between Barcelona and the Ebro Delta.  

This 2 day course is run in conjunction with International Yacht training (www.iytworld.com). One day of theory spent in the classroom and a second spent on the water on your own boat. It covers vessels with no accommodation driven by outboard motors in fair weather and up to 20 miles from a safe haven.
 

The topics covered include:

• Safety at sea
• VHF Radio operations
• Small powerboats and rigid inflatable boats
• Launching and recovery
• Anchors and anchoring
• Nautical terminology
• Boat handling under power
• Man overboard procedures
• Ropes and rope-work
• Basic rules of the road (collision regulations)

 

The price for the 2 day course is 200€/person (with 3 people sharing) with individual tuition/testing available in your own boat for 250€.
